- you've seen us planting gardens that have been growing well,
Building sheds, chook pen, ponds & putting in the water tank,
Saying goodbye to 2 of our beloved dogs,
Taken part in the wonderful dishcloth swap so many of you enjoyed;, Preserving and Sewing for the home and friends,
And seen me start up a little business selling my homemade soaps (thankyou to the Aussie gals who have been placing orders from Brisbane through to Victoria and sorry I'm unable at this stage to fill international orders - love you all lots).
And of course you watched and prayed as we battled with flood waters and rain damage
So now we are into our second year and Autumn is here with the leaves falling and the cooler weather beginning, thankfully, we have the wood all stockpiled ready for the frosty weather to keep the fire burning bright and warm inside
while I hopefully work on a bit more organization........ hmmm, seems I have a few UFO's that need attention............. but on a good note - yes, today I finally completed the quilt for Stacey (double bed size)
And yes, I do have a few pen pal letters and Robins to get to........... sorry girls, the pen pal letters will be tended to this week & new robins will be happening over the next couple weeks.
So, to say thankyou for all your support (which has come via comments, emails & snail mail, and verbally from some of you at work LOL) and to celebrate the start of our second year here in Bundalong - I thought I'd do a little give away. It's open to everyone, no matter where you live as I know my support comes from all over the world.............. to go into the drawer all you need do is leave me a comment, + mention my give away on your blog and you gain an extra entry (don't forget to let me know ). There will be 5 various prizes up for grabs............... have fun :) Entries close 31st May (Australian date).
Love & Hugs to you all, Sharm xox

Hi I am a new member, Renee sent me and I just had to check you out as I am a homesteader also. It's a lot of hard but awarding work as I am sure you know. Keep up the good work and I will be following you from now on.
Happy one year anniversary in Bundalong! Please enter me for for this giveaway opportunity, and thanks for extending it to those of us abroad.~Monica
Congratulations on your one-year mark. Looks like you HAVE been busy. We are just getting ready to plant the garden and you're just winding up your harvest. So interesting living in different hemispheres.
What a pretty little quilt. It's so much fun to make homemade gifts for others. I've never had anyone be disappointed to recieve a homemade gift, even if I wasn't completely happy with how it came out.
I'm so glad our winter is over. I've been out planting flowers and starting things in the little greenhouse. Our planting day is May 30. I'll post some news then or maybe before then with pictures of some of the wild flowers that have come up already.
Looks like you'll be nice and warm this winter.
God bless!
Thanks for all the lovely comments - & yes, I'll be especially warm this winter - birthday today & my hubbie has given me (us) a woollen electric blanket for the bed......... what a treat this will be getting into a lovely warm bed.
Hugs to you all - I've been getting a few little bits made to add to the gifts.
