And then I was lucky enough to find yet another parcel in my mail box from my Stepmum Heather who lives near Ipswich in Qld............ some lovely chook motive material that is looking like a set of quirky placemats and coasters to me .............................
What do you think?
With the lovely cold weather, I've finally dragged out the crochet hexagons again to continue on with the grandmothers garden................ a work in progress........ slow progress it would seem, but at any rate it is beginning to take shape and looking like the grandmothers garden........ an inspiration for my english pieced hexies for the "one flower Wednesday" group.
This will just be a rug for the loung room, so with a bit of luck........... ok, maybe alot of luck, it may actually get finished before Winter ends.............. hmmmmmm
Well, it seems I need to get to and do some other bits and pieces, but before I go, I thought you might like to see my little helper here at the computer "helping" me - Thanks Scruffy, what a shame you can't do the housework LOL
